Consisting of only six ingredients, including coconut oil, hemp seed oil, jojoba oil, rosehip oil, manuka oil and ethically sourced beeswax, this beauty balm is a great multi-purpose addition to your skincare regime.
Coconut oil is naturally antibacterial and anti fungal. It acts as a barrier to dust and environmental pollutants, while sealing in skins moisture. Its antioxidant action reduces oxidative damage and it keeps the skin smooth and supple by promoting collagen formation.
Hemp seed oil adds a protective layer to the skin, helps prevent rashes and provides relief for acne. Rich in vitamins A & E and high in antioxidants which prevent or slow cell damage. The omega 3 contained in hemp seed oil has anti inflammatory benefits that can therapeutically heal skin conditions, and the omega 6 is essential for the healthy functioning of skin.
Jojoba oil is rich in vitamins A, D and E, and contains omega 6 which works to regenerate skin cells. It balances oily skin, soothes sensitive skin, hydrates dry skin and helps heal acne and breakouts.
Rosehip oil contains vitamins A and E, as well as omega 3, 6 and 9. It is a natural source of the powerful antioxidants lycopene, which helps improve skin texture and offers protection against premature ageing, and beta-carotene, which helps prevent the free-radical damage responsible for premature ageing.
Finally, Manuka oil is antibacterial, keeps skin clear and helps fight off bad bacteria, and beeswax is anti inflammatory, anti bacterial and seals in moisture without clogging pores.
